College is a critical phase in a student’s career.
Unfortunately, the Indian education system and the society places immense pressure on students during the 10th and 12th standards that the initial years of college life is seen as a “break” from such pressures.
Most often, the initial years of the college are not actively utilized for career planning. The exploration of career choices and decisions related to career growth are often taken in the last academic year, closer to the placement season. The immense pressure of placements then continues and may result in bad career choices.
We have identified some of the causes that for these choices and try to address them in an effective manner.
